FREE Mammogram Bus and Community Closet

The Tremont Health Action Center is partnering with SAVED 4 Life Cancer Corporation (S4LCC) to host a FREE mammogram bus and community closet at:

1826 Arthur Avenue, Bronx 10457

Thursday, July 13^th, 2023

9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

FREE Mammography screening eligibility is as follows:

• Women aged 40 -79.
• They must live in New York City.
• Have not had a mammogram in the last 12 months.
• Are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and do not have breast implants
• Patients who have received a COVID-19 vaccine, should schedule their appointment 6 weeks after their second dose. A common side-effect of the vaccine is swollen underarm lymph nodes. To prevent call backs, it is recommended that women wait 4- 6 weeks to screen.
