DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Tremont Health Action Center is partnering with SAVED 4 Life Cancer Corporation (S4LCC) to host a FREE mammogram bus and community closet at: \n1826 Arthur Avenue\, Bronx 10457 \nThursday\, July 13th\, 2023 \n9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. \nFREE Mammography screening eligibility is as follows: \n\nWomen aged 40 -79.\nThey must live in New York City.\nHave not had a mammogram in the last 12 months.\nAre not pregnant or breastfeeding\, and do not have breast implants\nPatients who have received a COVID-19 vaccine\, should schedule their appointment 6 weeks after their second dose. A common side-effect of the vaccine is swollen underarm lymph nodes. To prevent call backs\, it is recommended that women wait 4- 6 weeks to screen.\n\nAppointments can be made now by contacting Mrs. Travis Thomas by text at 914-200-4505 or calling 877-628-9090.
